THE HAPPY H RANCH - A BRIEF HISTORY
Purchased in 1972 by the late Guy W. and Shirley Hughes, the 257-acre
Happy H Ranch is among the most beautiful privately-owned ranches in the Texas Hill Country. After moving to the ranch in 1972, Mr. and Mrs. Hughes lived in the main residence for the remainder of their lives. During their years on the ranch, they made several significant improvements such as the construction of a guest home and a guest apartment adjacent to the main residence. To add another unique flair, the Hughes’ decided to incorporate exotic wildlife like black buck antelope, axis, fallow and the family herd of Longtussi and Angus cattle.  
This is complimented with an abundant native wildlife and plants.

THE CROSS ON FOREGIVENESS HILL
